Sometimes they fight for themselves, often they fight for others. It is not unheard of to see stories of men who died fighting to ensure the freedom of those who would live long after their battle. Why is this? Why do men and women fight so hard for freedom? Why do people fight to overthrow tyrants? Why do they stand up to authority even to protect the smallest of rights? What is it about freedom that calls to us? It was an attempt to answer these questions that began my passion for freedom.

I have grown up with a deep love for my country. I have always been fascinated with subjects such as the American Revolution, the Constitution, and the Founding Fathers. I have for years studied the stories of our Founders, the government they set up, and what that government has done since it was created. The Founding Father’s passion for freedom is what drove my own desire to learn more about why men fight to protect their rights. In the years that I have studied, the conclusion that I have come up with is that a want to be free is a part of human nature. If we have "natural rights," rights that were given to us by God and can only be rightfully taken away by Him, then what naturally follows is that men would want to protect these rights. If all men have rights to begin with, than they are going to want to protect them. This would explain why men who have never been free would fight for freedom. It would also explain the willingness of the Founding Fathers (as well as all others who fought the Revolution) to fight and die for the cause of freedom. This idea got me excited! It also gave me hope. Hope that, no matter how bad things may get in the future, there will always be those who will stand for the cause of freedom. I consider myself a freedom fighter. I will always do what I must to ensure the freedom of my country. But I will not always be here, nor will everyone else in this time who also fight for freedom. Though the freedom fighters of today will not always be here, there will always be freedom fighters. A desire for freedom is within our very soul. It calls to us, gives us courage, and strengthens out heart. It has also strengthened my passion for freedom.

Freedom is within man’s nature. That is why we will always fight for it. No matter how many tyrants come to power, there will always be protectors who will topple the tyranny. That is the power of freedom. That is why I have a passion for it. That is why I started this blog. It is to share my passion of freedom with you. We all have a power within us. We all have the ability to protect freedom. We all have a passion of freedom within us. We all have the ability to keep our country free. We all have the ability to change things for the better. This country will remain free because we have the ability to keep it that way. All we need to do is tap into our passion for freedom, listen to our hearts and spirits, and find out what needs to be done to protect freedom. So what are you waiting for? Join me in a quest to protect freedom. It is the individual that has the power to change the world. So let us do it!

Welcome!
