Pakistan Army inducts A-100 Rocket

Pakistan Army inducts A-100 Rocket in Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) of its Corps of Artillery. A- 100 Rocket has been indigenously developed by Pakistani scientists and engineers. With over 100 kilometers range the Rocket is a highly effective and potent for interdiction that can effectively disrupt enemy’s mobilization and assembly.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) was chief guest at the induction ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, COAS paid rich tributes to scientists and engineers for indigenously developing A- 100 Rocket which shall augment the existing conventional fire power capabilities of Pakistan Army. COAS emphasised Pakistan Army’s resolve to strengthen conventional forces to meet challenges of full spectrum threat. COAS said that Pakistani defence industry has maintained steady progress in the recent times and has contributed to defence of Pakistan.

ملکی دفاع میں ایک اور کامیابی، ملٹی لانچ راکٹ سسٹم اے 100 پاک فوج میں شامل، راکٹ سسٹم کے تحت 100 کلو میٹر تک موثر انداز میں ہدف کونشانہ بنا سکتا ہے، افتتاحی تقریب میں آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ نے خصوصی طور پر شرکت کی۔ آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ملٹی لانچ راکٹ سسٹم اے 100 کو پاک فوج کے اٹلرری میں شامل کیاگیا ہے، 100 کلو میٹر تک موثر انداز میں ہدف کو نشانہ بنانے والے اس راکٹ سسٹم کو مقامی سائنسدانوں اور انجینیرز نے تیار کیا ہے۔ آرمی چیف نے سائنسدانوں اور انجینئرز کو اس کامیابی پر مبارک بادپیش کرتے ہوئے کہاکہ راکٹ سسٹم کی شمولیت سے پاک فوج آرٹلری کی استعداد کار بڑھے گی۔ آرمی چیف کا کہناتھا کہ پاک فوج کی روایتی صلاحیتوں میں اضافہ جاری رکھیں گے، پاک فوج درپیش چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے تیار ہے، آرمی چیف نے مزید کہا کہ پاکستانی دفاعی صعنت نے ملکی دفاعی میں اہم کردار ادا کررہا ہے.
